Yes, the iconic '90s band is reuniting to celebrate the 25th anniversary of debut album Cracked Rear View, the AP reports. The members of the Darius Rucker-fronted band announced Monday on Today that they are releasing a new album and setting off on a 44-city tour in 2019. "We’re not doing it for us," said Rucker, who's been a successful solo country artist for the past decade. "We’re doing it for those people who used to plan their vacations around the Hootie & the Blowfish tour." The band, which last released an album in 2006, hopes to have a new single out in the spring and the rest of the album done by summer. The tour runs from May 30 to Sept. 30; Hootie will be joined by another '90s group, Barenaked Ladies. Read These Next House overwhelmingly votes to release Epstein files.
