In ordinary times, a fire aboard an 18-wheeler carrying toilet paper probably wouldn't make a ripple on the national news wires. These are not ordinary times, especially in regard to toilet paper. KWTX reports that thousands of rolls burned after the truck crashed and burst into flames on Interstate 20 in north Texas. The good news is that the driver is OK after the overnight accident in Hutchins, reports WFAA. The rolls appeared to be of the large, industrial-sized variety for commercial restrooms. The Texas Department of Transportation says the truck and its cargo "burned extensively," and rolls were also seen scattered over I-20. (More toilet paper stories.)
