Bob Barker taped his final episode of "The Price is Right" yesterday after 35 years hosting the long-running game show. He treated it as just another day, signing off with his usual admonition to spay and neuter pets, but after the cameras stopped rolling, the 83-year-old legend thanked the studio audience profusely for his 50 years in TV.
Fans camped overnight to get into the taping of the episode, which will air June 15. "This is over-the-top amazing. It's like a piece of Americana," gushed one woman. During commercial breaks, Barker took questions from the audience. Asked if he'd watch the show in retirement, he joked, "In as few words as possible, no." (More Bob Barker stories.)
