The president of Brazil has been tested for COVID-19 after developing symptoms consistent with the coronavirus, Bloomberg reports. Jair Bolsonaro says "everything is fine" and his office describes him as being "in good health," but he recently had a slight fever and has been seen coughing. Per the AP, he had an X-ray of his lungs Monday, which he said came back "clean." He was tested Monday night and results are expected Tuesday. Bolsonaro is taking hydroxychloroquine, the same controversial drug President Trump took despite a lack of evidence showing it combats the virus. Bolsonaro, who has downplayed the seriousness of the pandemic, has recently mingled with crowds of supporters, sans mask. (More Jair Bolsonaro stories.)
