Spain's Rafael Nadal sealed a threepeat at Roland Garros today—the first player since Bjorn Borg to achieve the feat. Lionized hardcourt phenom Roger Federer fell for a third straight year to Nadal, who is still undefeated at the French Open with a sacré blu-worthy 21 straight victories.

The Swiss Federer, who remains #1 in the world, once again showed signs of struggle on the terre battue, falling behind early and eventually dropping 6-3, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4. The 25-year-old has won 10 Grand Slams, including 6 of the last 8, but has yet to pick up a cup at the French; he's also 54-0 over two years against all Grand Slam opponents besides Nadal, but 0-2 to his Spanish nemesis.
