A Seattle police officer was captured on video rolling the wheel of his bicycle over a protester's head and neck Wednesday night amid the nationwide protests that followed a Kentucky grand jury's decision on the fatal police shooting of Breonna Taylor. The Seattle officer, who has not been named, was placed on administrative leave the following day, CNN reports. Also Thursday, the Seattle Police Department announced it has called on the King County Sheriff's Office to investigate, and the city's police watchdog group requested a criminal probe. Watch the video here, but be warned, it is disturbing. The protester was already on the ground as police approached and the officer appeared to walk his bike over him, the Washington Post reports. He was not injured, but was arrested and booked at the city's jail. (More Seattle stories.)
