For those whose daydream ambitions skew a little less rock-star and a little more presidential, Radar has a neat, automated form readers can use to produce their own nomination acceptance speech. Who doesn’t want to put their own stamp on clichéd, barn-burning oratory? But what, the discerning reader will wonder, will Radar ask of you? A short list of requested inputs follows.

  • The big one: "friends," or "fellow Americans?"
  • Name the small town you grew up in, and the honest labor you did to escape.
  • Name the sad corner of the world where hardship made you who you are today.
  • Choose two primary colors (hint: it works best with red and blue).
  • Name your vice president.
  • Your spouse's name (it you don't have one, you're in the wrong business).
