5 Arrests in Glasgow Attack

The UK is on highest terror alert and five suspects are in custody in the aftermath of yesterday's  attempted attack on the Glasgow airport. Two were the drivers of the flaming car driven into the main terminal building; two were picked up in home searches nearby in Glasgow, and one in Liverpool. Security barriers stopped the car from injuring hundreds of passengers inside the terminal doors.

Gordon Brown, still in his first week as prime minister, told the BBC that the attacks appear related to the two car bombs discovered in London's West End Friday, and that the perpetrators seem to be "people who are associated with al-Qaeda."
