Octuplet Mom Turns Down Free, 24-Hour Child Care

Nadya Suleman has rejected an offer from a nonprofit group for free, 24-hour care for her 14 kids, the Los Angeles Times reports. The group’s founder says Suleman lost interest when it vetoed a reality show based around their care, but Suleman disputes that in a video diary for Radar, saying she was concerned she’d have to move the kids.

Asked about reports she was interested in reality TV, Suleman replied, “That’s actually a lie. … I personally believe it’s kind of a form of exploitation, depending on how it’s done. Documentary is different.” Suleman’s also begun a hand-written blog, in which she reveals that she’d only learned her father would be going on Oprah minutes before he left home.
