Octuplet mom Nadya Suleman is more interested in media attention than in her babies, charged a spokeswoman for the free nursing staff axed this week by the multiple mom. "There's only a few hours beyond the time when the cameras were rolling that she actually came into the nursery when she was there to care for her babies—and that's wrong," attorney Gloria Allred said on NBC's Today show.
"She doesn't even come into the nursery to feed her own babies, to hold them, to change them, to love them except when the cameras are rolling." Suleman fired the round-the-clock nurses provided by a charity organization because she complained they were setting her up to fail, reports the New York Daily News. They contacted Child Protective Services three times, in part because of security concerns that the babies be protected from the press and public, said Allred.
