Two years after toddler Maddy McCann vanished during a family vacation in Portugal, her devastated parents continue searching for their daughter, reports the Telegraph. The family has distributed photos of Maddy as she might appear today as a 6-year-old. "We need to get out there she's alive, she's findable," explained mom Kate, who said she visits Maddy's bedroom twice a day "to say hello, to tell her we're doing everything we can to find her."
Maddy's parents were named as suspects in the case by Portugal law enforcement authorities, who eventually acknowledged that they had no evidence to bring charges. Some eye witnesses recalled seeing a suspicious man hanging around the McCann's residence in Portugal, and a friend saw a man carrying a blond child. Recent reports reveal a series of underground tunnels in the neighborhood where the McCanns were staying that may have been used by an abductor.
