A bombing at a Shiite mosque in Iran killed at least 30 people during evening prayers yesterday, Reuters reports. At least 80 others were injured in the bombing in Zahedan city, near the Pakistan border. A Sunni group of anti-government rebels is active in the province, and government officials say they have arrested members of a terrorist group behind the blast.

A second bomb was found and defused, according to what Reuters calls a "semi-official" news agency. The attack in the largely Sunni city was carried out on a public holiday for Shi'ite Muslims. (More Iran stories.)
