The Miami-Dade school district is going all out in its attempt to stomp out “sexting,” the Miami Herald reports. The superintendent says he wants to work with law enforcement to develop the nation's top sexting program, including a special curriculum to educate students of all ages about the practice. “This is to protect kids,” he said, “to make them aware of the legal implications of some of their virtual transactions.”

Teachers and parents will also receive special instruction. “As parents, we have to realize this is something that's going on,” said the head of the PTA. Teens in other states have been charged with felony pornography for transmitting naughty images of themselves or others. In a survey, one in five teens reported doing so.
