NY Cops Seek Hooker in Holocaust Survivor Killing

New York police suspect a prostitute and her male cohort of strangling a 90-year-old Holocaust survivor at his Upper East Side apartment this week, the New York Post reports. The pair allegedly stole a car and credit cards from Felix Brinkmann, who periodically brought prostitutes home and, during the Holocaust, was ordered to the gas chamber five times—but survived each time because of his electrical engineering skills.

Yesterday, cops pulled six bags of evidence, including a safe, from Brinkmann’s home. The suspects “must have tied him up and beat him trying to get him to open the safe, and he didn't, so they killed him,” a Brinkmann friend and former NYPD detective told the New York Daily News. “Knowing him, he probably told them, ‘I did five years in Auschwitz! You'll get nothing from me!’”
