(AP Photo/Nick Ut, file) Anna Nicole Smith's babydaddy Larry Birkhead took the stand again yesterday in the Howard K Stern hearing, and testified that the prosecution pressured him to "ramp up" his testimony because he appeared to be taking Stern's side. "I felt I personally did my best and I was being chastised," Birkhead said of a deputy district attorney—who was conspicuously absent from the courtroom after lunch, the AP reports. The attorney's future role in the hearing is under discussion, a spokesperson said. Also on the stand yesterday was a psychiatrist who treated Smith during her pregnancy after she had gone "cold turkey" and was suffering withdrawal symptoms, the doctor said, adding, "She was very hostile. It was, 'Give me my medication and leave me alone.'" Smith allegedly refused alternative treatment including hypnosis and acupuncture. "She wouldn't engage," the doc said.
