Scott Brown is getting flack from all sides for his decision to cross the aisle and vote to end debate on the Senate's $15 billion jobs legislation. The Drudge Report splashed the story on its homepage and tinted a photo of the Massachusetts senator an incriminating red. Far more vociferous are Brown’s own Facebook friends. Some friends!
On his Facebook page, Brown wrote, “This Senate jobs bill is not perfect. I wish the tax cuts were deeper and broader, but I am voting for it because it contains measures that will help put people back to work.” Reactions were quick and negative. “Enjoy your one term as Senator,” fumed one, according to Wonkette. “What a jackass you turned out to be!” It’s also a “betrayal” and a “FAST about face,” according to others. “I guess not much has changed in Ted Kennedy’s seat!” quips another.
